| While searching for images, I was intrigued by a record sleeve : against a white background, seated in a circle, a quintet of musicians dressed in black play for a large fern. There's no name of artist, orchestra or band, just the title Music For Your Plants, written in green capitals in serif typography. I realized that there were several records of this kind, dating from the 1970s. What was this music for plants ? |
Au détour d’une recherche d'images, une pochette de disque m’a intrigué : sur un fond blanc, assis en cercle, un quintette de musiciens habillés en noir jouent pour une grande fougère. Il n’y a pas de nom d’artiste, d’orchestre ou de groupe, seulement le titre Music For Your Plants, écrit en majuscules vertes dans une typographie à empattements. Je me suis rendu compte qu’il existait plusieurs disques de ce genre, datant des années 1970. Quelle était cette musique pour les plantes ? |

| The public is invited to take a seat on the bus. They are led into a state of light hypnosis. The sound environment facilitates the state of hypnosis : the muffled sounds place the passengers in a state of optimal attention. The performance takes place in a tour bus in order to explore the blurred zone between tourism and hypnosis, and to highlight the states of consciousness modified by the tour. | Le public est invité à prendre place dans le bus et placé dans un état d’hypnose léger. L'ambiance sonore du bus est conçue pour faciliter l’état d’hypnose : les sons assourdis placent les passagers dans un état d’attention optimale. La performance se déroule dans un bus de tourisme afin d'explorer la zone floue entre le tourisme et l'hypnose, et mettre en évidence les états de conscience modifiés par le voyage organisé. | |

| Potential City is an architectural project which aims at increasing the potential of the Forum des Halles in Paris, to put it on scale with the Parisian metropolis. Potential City explores solutions for an attractive architecture, to create desire, urban attractions, places for experimentation, fantastic in the everyday life. |
Potential City est un projet architectural visant à démultiplier le potentiel du Forum des Halles (Paris), pour le mettre à l’échelle de la métropole parisienne. Potential City explore ce que pourrait être une architecture attractive, qui suscite le désir, crée des possibilités d’intérêt urbain, des lieux d’expérimentation qui introduisent du fantastique dans le quotidien. |

| Surrender to GPS !
Random GPS takes you around the world according to an infinite route, randomly determined and constantly recalculated as you travel. The device comes in the form of a classic car GPS box, which program has been modified. It is no longer possible to enter a destination. The voice tells you the direction as soon as the device is switched on and until it is switched off, without you being able to interfere with the route. |

Random GPS entraîne à travers le monde selon un trajet infini, déterminé aléatoirement et sans cesse recalculé au fur et à mesure du voyage. Le dispositif se présente sous la forme d'un boîtier GPS de voiture classique, dont le programme a été modifié. Il n'est plus possible d'entrer une destination. La voix vous indique la direction dès que l'appareil est allumé et jusqu'à ce qu'il soit éteint, sans qu'il soit possible d'intervenir sur le parcours. |

| With Moillesulaz Full Scale, one can explore a geolocalized sound instalation of the swiss-french border region, around the Moillesulaz customs. The project was first exhibited during the Version Beta Biennial, Centre pour l’image contemporaine - Saint-Gervais, Geneva. oct. 31st - dec. 14th, 2008. | Moillesulaz échelle 1 est une installation sonore géolocalisée autour du poste de douane de Moillesulaz à la frontière franco-suisse. Le public parcourt librement la zone en écoutant des textes poétiques, des réflexions et des pièces sonores liés au territoire, à l’endroit même où ils ont été émis. L’installation a été conçue à l’occasion de l’entrée de la Suisse dans l’espace Schengen, le 12 décembre 2008. | |

| We propose to stop at the most busy place, at the very heart of the networks, in the eye of the hurricane, at the focal point of the Parisian megalopolis. The voyage immobile, or motionless journey, or travel-point condenses the energy of the journey into one carefully chosen location. The experience was conducted by several people using a protocol that each one of them interprets as he/she wishes : the book Voyages immobiles au Forum des Halles (in French only) brings together the texts of ten of these travellers. | S’arrêter à l’endroit le plus passant, au cœur même des réseaux dans l’œil du cyclone, au point focal de la mégapole parisienne. Le voyage immobile ou voyage-point condense l’énergie du voyage en un seul endroit soigneusement choisi. L’expérience a été conduite par plusieurs personnes à partir d’un protocole que chacun interprète : les textes de dix de ces voyageurs sont regroupés dans le livre Voyages immobiles au Forum des Halles. | |
